So tomorrow is our last day in sweden, we're currently on the mixing process, so there's not much we can post. We had an amazing time in Umea but its not yet finished... we restart recording on the 2nd of july in portugal with miguel marques.

vocal tracking, last day!!

Today is the last day of vocal tracking, so as i write this vasco is inside tracking some "harmonies" ;) and doing the final vocal arrangements...

i'm really bored so i search the web for cool stuff and i guess i found a possible amazing artist to do our artwork, i don't think i'll be doing it this time, its cool to get a different approach from someone outside the band...i'll keep you updated on that!

So thursday was sergio, rui and jorge's last day in Umea...The only thing left to do now is vocal tracking and mixing. So me and vasco stayed back for that and it was a long day of hard work...he started singing in the morning and through out the day, wich resulted in a really sore and tired throat... So now we're enjoying three days off...relaxing, watching films and enjoying mid summer celebrations!! cheers to ragnar for taking us out and showing us a really good time in Skelleftea.

Wednesday,

Hey! wednesday was pretty much the same as tuesday....we recorded some layers of guitars, bass or whatever other instruments we find cool on the first hours of the morning and then vasco tracks vocals during the rest of the day! We also watched portugal's game and we decided to play our own Portugal - Sweden against Eskil, Magnus, Pelle and his kids! It was great fun!! Most of us hadnt played football for years... we won but that doesnt matter really! After the game we had a lovely barbeque, a few beers and we hang out until it was time for bed!

so today was a really productive day,
me and phil tracked a bunch of guitar lines and it sounds really good! Vasco layed vocals on them and he's happy with it! so that's pretty much it! as soon as we have any more news we'll post them straight away.
PS:Vasco asks if anyone out there knows Cristina Scabbia from Lacuna Coil to tell her he's madly in love with her! oh me and phil are completly addicted to Fight Night round 2, we've been living it intensively!

So yesterday we kept on recording guitars and bass...

Vasco tracked some vocals as well...and he is kind of "cute"...

We had a really SPICY Chilli for lunch and you have no clue of how bad it smelled later on... Jorge was the king and rui was a very close second place...we watched Steve-O "out on bail" film...and sergio made us all watch Van Wylder : "meeowwww"....tara reid is the worst actress alive. but its unanimous...shes a hot slut!

Hey guys! so i started tracking yesterday and i was a bit nervous about recording, showing my lyrics and explaining them to someone. Its hard to make someone else understand what i felt when i wrote them but Pelle and Eskil are really open minded and got what i was feeling right away. I never felt so confortable singing and for the first time i'm singing without being worried...

I'm sitting in the back of the room watching Pelle and Eskil getting the best out of the guys. The growing up machine is in full effect and i can see it all going one step further. Its really cool to watch it all grow together not being exactly sure of the final outcome, but as the pieces are coming together the puzzle is starting to look good. I'll let you know more tomorrow
